Food is such an important part of any incentive’s experience. Whether it is lunch in cosy pub or an impressive Gala Dinner in one of Scotland’s stunning venues; guests always comment on their food. Scotland has some of the best local produce in the world and it’s on our doorstep so there is no excuse not to use what is available to us. Fortunately we are also in safe hands with Robbie Gleave who is the Executive Development Chef at event caterers Heritage Portfolio.

Edinburgh based Heritage Portfolio are very particular about the venues they cater for; buildings of distinction or unusual spaces whose raison d'être is not necessarily events. These could be anything from stately homes, castles, places, galleries and even a deconsecrated church and library built for the legal profession. These places appeal to the incentive market, as they are special and memorable; but equally deserve fantastic cuisine and service and Robbie is happy to oblige.  The team at Hello Scotland appreciates that the incentive groups we work with are more discerning than ever and Robbie always manages to provide creative, bespoke, fun and most importantly delicious food!

Robbie’s enthusiasm and passion about food is infectious but there is an added  ‘feather in his cap’ this year.  Heritage Portfolio is proud to have worked with the Palace of Holyrood House (the official residence of Her Majesty The Queen in Scotland) since 2002, providing prestigious events including the Royal Garden Party in the summer each year.  For this, Heritage Portfolio has recently been granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen.
