Hoteliers in Glasgow seem to have lucked-out with the choice of traditional building to renovate, or in finding new spaces in a busy city.
Last year's restoration of the old Royal Scottish Automobile Club into the prestigious Blythwood Square Hotel seems to have set the trend for bringing iconic Glasgow building back to life. Set to open this summer is the Hotel's spa which promises the ultimate luxurious pampering experience.
Close behind Blythwood is the thrilling plans to restore the Grand Central Hotel to it's former glory! The artists illustrations of how this iconic building will look after it's face-lift are astonishing! (See above right, or check out the full blog article)
Boutique hotel chain Indigo have started their renovation of an old bank building in the heart of the financial district and it promises to ooze style in a location which is ideal for city centre business and leisure.
Finally, Jurys Inn have struck gold with the construction of a new hotel right on the doorstep of the SECC, fast becoming the UK's number one conference centre.
