"You all did a great job during “Taking the hill” All of you were so positive, smiling and happy and together we made a great atmosphere with lots of laughs and good vibrations!!"

"Dear Bill and Team,

Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for a great and memorable weekend in Edinburgh!
What a great event it was! It was a lot of happy (and tired..) faces on the way back yesterday.

The battle preparations were great, and the battle itself was even better! What a day!!!

I’ll probably never forget the sight of all these women in their habits, face paint, chanting and cheering on the green hills of Dalmeny with just one goal – to tear down and burn the flag of our enemy!

I can’t wait to see the pictures – they must be fantastic! The green grass, the blue sky, sun, sea, happy people – WOW!

The steel band was a great surprise – they really made the atmosphere electric – because of the drums of course!

Being in the church the same night was just breathtaking! I think everybody got the chills when the bagpipers and drummers marched in, and during Amazing Grace I was not the only one who fought to hold back my tears.

Gregor did an amazing job keeping up the spirit throughout the games and made a really memorable speech in the church – he might be madman – but a very intelligent and focused madman I have to say!!!

You all did a great job during “Taking the hill” All of you were so positive, smiling and happy and together we made a great atmosphere with lots of laughs and good vibrations!!

Thank you again for a great event, and job, more than well done from your people during the battle!!"
