We’ve worked with clients across many industries to launch a variety of products. Here’s some of the most notable:

 

Beauty & Cosmetics

The launch of a new range of cosmetics to high profile fashion & beauty journalists from across Germany. The focus was on creating a platform of emotion through nature, so for us the obvious answer was the beauty of central Scotland – close to airports and easily accessible, yet with the feeling of being miles from civilisation.

Highlights included a walk along the West Highland Way (in tartan wellies!), hearing a piper in the distance, whose sounds lead them to a Castle for afternoon tea and a Gaelic hot chocolate!

The launch took place in an exclusive loch-side venue, which is modern, light and airy; the perfect for natural cosmetics to be launched.

 

Automotive

Scotland was the perfect selection for the launch of a new 4x4 off road vehicle. Bill took a personal interest in the project and in fact it was his character and presence that added a real personal and emotive touch to everyday of the 2 month, weeklong launch.

He sought out the perfect remote location for the launch, and worked closely with the organisers to create a truly rugged Scottish experience, incorporating special touches, like interactive falconry, where the birds displayed their strength, agility... attributes that were mirrored in the new vehicle.

 

Cellular Technology

A mobile phone giant wanted to launch a new multimedia mobile phone product in an environment that reflected the strong traditional values of their organisation, yet also dynamically integrating the new cutting edge technology and developments of their cellular phone product.

It was also important that the launch incorporated a ‘challenge’ as a key ingredient of the companies philosophy was to always challenge the boundaries of their knowledge and technology.

Hello Scotland created a concept were the cellular phones were integrated into a ‘Helicopter Castle Hunt’, where teams got the chance to take a trip in a helicopter to find and photograph castles around Scotland! In fact, this was the original ‘Castle Hunt’ program and you can see a video here: Castle Hunting.

 

Pharmaceuticals

For the launch of a new painkiller, Hello Scotland worked with the pharmaceutical company to create a concept based around the famous Scottish film, “The Highlander”. It allowed the product to be launched in a fun way, but of course there were still the underlying important details about the drug. 

In another drug launch, Hello took the fundamental requirement of the launch – to educate the sales people about the drug – and turned it into a full product launch concept. The hotel venue was transformed into an academy, guests were asked to matriculate, there was student style dining a spin-tingling student ritual in castle ruins and even ‘graduation’ at the end!
